Short version: the compressor calculator does its math on your own device, the contact form collects only what you type into it, and the ads and analytics on this page work the same way they do on most sites that carry Google-served advertising. The long version is below. Last updated 2026-06-17.

Running the calculator does not send us anything

Pick a vehicle class, part quality, shop type, or type in a ZIP code on the homepage, and that math happens right there in your browser tab. None of those selections travel to a server we control, and nothing about your session is logged from the calculator itself. Refresh the page and the inputs reset.

What happens when you use the contact form

Messages sent from the contact page pass through Web3Forms, our form-delivery vendor, and arrive with the name, email, and message text you supplied. That information is used to answer you and is kept only for as long as the correspondence and our own recordkeeping require.

Ads, cookies, and the traffic numbers we look at

This site carries Google AdSense advertising and runs Google Analytics to see which guides get read. Google and its ad partners may set cookies tied to your visits here and elsewhere to decide which ads to show; the controls for that live at adssettings.google.com, with a fuller industry opt-out list at www.aboutads.info. Prefer not to be counted in the traffic reports at all? The Google Analytics browser add-on handles that.

Your cookie choices

A consent banner greets first-time visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, with the option to accept or turn down non-essential cookies right there. Clearing your cookies resets that choice so you can make it again. Depending on your location, local law may also give you the right to see, correct, or delete the personal data tied to you, or to opt out of it being sold or shared; the contact page is where to raise any of that.

Who else sees this information

Nothing submitted through the contact form is sold. It is shared only with the vendors that keep the site running, namely whoever delivers the form, measures traffic, or serves ads, and only to the extent those services (or a legal requirement) call for it.
